Amy Hastanan is a dually Licensed Acupuncturist and Massage Therapist, with 10 years of experience in the field of complimentary and alternative medicine.
She received her initial massage training in Thai Bodywork, from Asokananda's Sunshine Network, Thailand (2005) and continued her studies at NYC's, Swedish Institute (2008), the oldest continuously operating massage therapy institution in the United States. She has spent her career working alongside chiropractors and physical therapists, which has guided her focus towards pain management and rehabilitation for acute and chronic pain, post-surgery, and injuries. Amy completed her Master's of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in 2015, from Honolulu's Institute of Clinical Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Amy's love of the work has propelled her to seek ways to integrate wellness as a form of maintenance and preventative care. Amy now blends the anatomical knowledge gained from her medical massage experiences with her understanding of the meridian system to create individualized acupuncture and/or massage treatments; a mix of East and West.

Dreams of a Mobile Clinic
Amy and Naike are nurturing their dreams of a mobile clinic that will allow them to take their healing arts throughout the United States and around the globe to benefit those of diverse socioeconomic backgrounds and cultures. Hawaii has been our home for the past 3 years. Now that we have more access to resources on the mainland, we will assemble a prototype for our Mobile Clinic, while living in the Pacific Northwest.
We hope to start a documentary series once on the road, which will explore systems of medicine, from east to west, modern to traditional. We would like to showcase our work and those who we meet along the way. Our journey will focus on the pursuit and expansion of our knowledge of how people live and heal; finding ways to share that with the greater community.
